THE MARCH OF HOPE | Jim Kroft
'The March of Hope' is a short film about the rights and conditions of refugees in Europe. It's narrative is based around the exodus of 3000 refugees from the Idomeni refugee camp on the Greek border, and their decision to leave, en masse, after the Balkan route was shut down by European governments in 2016. The film makers lived with the refugees in the camps and witnessed multiple human rights abuses. Subsequently the film makers were contacted by European Human Rights lawyers, and the footage is being used to support cases at the European Court of Human Rights. Here for the first time, the full story is told in 'The March of Hope'
