Patients as Partners in their Care
If you are receiving care at one of our hospitals or health centres, one of our volunteers may ask you to participate in the Patients as Observers program for clean and healthy hands. This means having to complete an anonymous survey card asking you to check a box if you saw one of your healthcare providers wash their hands. You will also be asked if you would like to learn how to properly wash your hands. This is a voluntary program.
