Established in 1982. the Peace Education Program strengthens communities and schools by training youth and adults to build and sustain positive relationships. We do this by providing learning experiences to reduce violence, enhance personal integrity and foster mutual respect. We offer expert trainings in conflict resolution, peer mediation and prejudice reduction.

To learn more about our trainings as well as our other programs such as: Rage-a-Saurus Rex/Moose Gets Ready, a preschool readiness partnership with Squallis Puppeteers; PeaceCasters our youth program focusing on “Making Media That Matters”; and the Navigators, supporting boys in middle school who live with high levels of conflict, visit our website PeaceEducationProgram.org.

Reflections from Summer Camp - 2017

Peace Ed’s Teen Leaders For Diversity camp provides youth, many from some of our neighborhoods with the highest levels of conflict, with essential nonviolent conflict resolution, team building and respect for diversity skills.

This video features participants in our summer 2017 camp sharing about what they have learned at camp.
