Two sisters from "the old country" attempt to blend in with the quaint commoners of early 19th century New England. When they encounter the resident priest, one of the sisters becomes a dominant sexual omen over the convent. Invoking animism, she releases her primeval desires upon the pseudo-sexual priest, leaving the other sister pitted between the religious mysticism of the townsfolk and the primal boil in her blood.
