The Toast of the Coast Wine Competition and Festival - San Diego County Fair
The medal-winning wines served at the featured VIP events and other events at the Fair are from some of the Fair’s competitions, including The Toast of the Coast Wine Competition, which draws entrants from throughout the United States and Mexico. The Toast of the Coast Wine Festival, which pours the award-winning wine in the serene Paul Ecke Jr. Garden Show, is held in two sessions between noon - 7 p.m. Tickets include Fair admission and can be purchased online.

The Toast of the Coast will feature the finest wines from licensed wineries in California and Baja California. Your ticket will include unlimited 1-oz samples of wines entered in the 2017 Toast of the Coast Wine Competition. When you find one you like, you'll be able to buy bottles to take home.
The Festival also includes entertainment and admission to the San Diego County Fair. Wine enthusiasts can upgrade to the VIP Winemakers' Tasting Area for an exclusive experience with winemakers and specialty food pairing and wine samplings.

The Paul Ecke Jr. Garden Show offers a serene setting for tastings at the Toast of the Coast Wine Festival. Designed by master gardeners and landscape architects, the Garden Show features many ideas and features you can incorporate into your home garden.
