Well folks, I finally got around to getting a super rough cut of a montage of sorts from over 3 hours of footage from my Thailand trip. It still needs a LOT of work, but it's a start. Music is "Once There Was a Hush Puppy" by Benh Zeitlin and Dan Romer from the soundtrack for beautiful and powerful Beasts of the Southern Wild (seriously, see this movie). This is a tiny fraction of love I feel for this amazing country and all the wonderful people I met along the way. Filmed on a Canon T2i with a 28mm f/1.8 lens (might be one shot in there with a telephoto). I also could not have filmed this while backpacking without my favorite kickstarted gizmo, the camera clip, by peakdesignltd.com/ . By far my best investment towards a trip like this.
