Mi Camino (animated opera)
Mi Camino provides a testimony to the strength of farmworkers and shines a light on their hopes and dreams deferred during the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States. The film includes documentary style interviews with farmworkers, original opera compositions based on those interviews, live action, green screen performances by powerfully talented singers mixed with animations of avatars in their homes, at work and in dreamscape environments.
