Experiential Learning

Instructors across UT engage their students in a wide range of learning experiences that engage them in real-world problems and/or place them in real-world settings. This portfolio shares some of those experiences to encourage and inspire you to explore ways you could add experiential learning into your class.

Experiential Learning in Chemistry

David Vanden Bout, Chemistry, shares how his perspective shifted once he engaged students as they solved problems during class. The end result has been a journey towards crafting learning experiences inside of a large classroom that help students "Think Like a Chemist."
