Late Slip Notifications
At the beginning of every class, teachers take attendance and report which students are present and which students are absent. A student reported absent may turn up – late slip in hand – after a teacher has submitted the attendance sheet.
Edsby’s late slip notifications help teachers confirm late arrivals without needing to open the attendance sheet again. The navigation bar includes a notification icon. The notification icon alerts the teacher of pending Late Slips. Click on the icon to view the late slips. If the student arrived in class, click Confirm Present. If the student did not arrive in class, click Confirm Absent.
The attendance sheet is updated automatically and the School Office is notified.
