The following videos demonstrate stretching exercises that can be used in the warm up and cool down portions of the CPT Program Design assignment.

5. Levator Scapula Stretch

Purpose: To stretch the levator scapula muscle

Execution
1. Stand with right side against wall and place right elbow on wall as right arm reaches between the shoulder blades. Turn head towards the left and look over left shoulder.
2. Actively depress scapula (lower it) while looking to the left. (Exhale) Stretch is felt in the back of the neck towards the right.
3. Let scapula return to neutral (Inhale) and repeat until a release is felt.
4. Repeat to the left side.
