3. Suboccipital Stretch
Purpose: Stretch and create relaxation of the sub-occipital muscles.
Execution
1. Sit on a chair with chest up and hands interlaced behind head.
2. Relax muscles on the back of the head and let weight of the hands pull chin towards chest. Keep the chest up (Inhale)
3. Exhale and feel stretch on the back of the neck as you gently pull "outward" with the hands, making the neck longer.
4. Lift head back to startposition and repeat until release is felt.
