Time Lapse Production

Utilizing multiple, solar powered, simultaneous time lapse cameras CMR Studios can capture all the action on a construction site. What appears to be a slow process on a day to day or even month to month basis becomes dynamic and active. We can create incremental videos during long projects so you can engage an online audience and generate interest. The videos also archive and verify a construction timeline.

Videos like the Alstom Power Plant construction, Metals USA, Habitat for Humanity and UDT condo conversion incorporate time lapse as a creative element of a full video where we also shot descriptive video. Others like the St. Pete Pier Demolition and Maritans ship construction are used as stand alone productions.

No mater what the application, time lapse always grabs attention. Select a video and scroll down to the viewer window and see for yourself.

St Pete Pier Demolition Time Lapse

The demolition of the iconic St. Petersburg Florida Pier is the first step in creating a new waterfront destination. Produced by CMR Studios, this video uses over 315,000 photos shot using three cameras. Beginning with the last night the lights were on and the day before demolition began, it compresses one year of work into just a minute and a half. We are now shooting the construction of the new pier from the same camera angles to bring this multi-year video full circle.
