Current Acts

These are some recent projects between Brain Hooks and other creative partners in the Asheville area. My role within these projects varies from Creative Director/Art Director to editor to general cat herder/producer.

My mantra is this: Simplicity Wins. By this, I mean the following: if there are two different solutions to a communications problem, the simplest one will work best. And more often, this solution is less expensive to produce.

Big Brothers Big Sisters-Grandma "Ya-Ya" Testimonial

This is a nice testimonial piece for our friends over at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Western North Carolina. Mary and her two grandsons were great to work with, and they have a great success story to share about their experience with Big Brothers Big Sisters. The grandsons even helped with some of the shooting on the video, thanks to the miracle of GoPro cameras. Keith Wight of Wright Creative was the shooter and I pulled the edit together. I guess I should mention my wife, Fran, is the Program Coordinator for the in-school program at Big Brothers Big Sisters. They all do extraordinary work for our community.
