SHORT SYNOPSIS: Many of us have declared our social media addictions of a waste of time, even as we endlessly scroll, retweet and like. But, as director Matthew Frost explores in his new short Boomerang, it’s not such a easy distraction to give up. A satirical look at social media addiction and the power of influencers, Boomerang stars Tully’s Mackenzie Davis as Jen, a woman who find that quitting social media isn’t as easy as it seems.
