Jeff Roberts: Remove the M from MVC
For decades, we’ve been told about the importance of architecting our applications using the MVC architecture. This age-old approach instructs us to build a layer of model objects (the M in MVC) that model the real world. Then, create our Views (the V in MVC) and connect the two layers together using Controllers (the C in MVC). But, what if I told you that you don’t need to create the model layer anymore? **gasp** I’ve been using this technique for the past couple of years and I can show you how to remove the M and still have well-architected applications.
