We'll cover some basic design principles behind animation while keeping the focus on user experience, then cover some basics of Core Animation, and then look at common performance issues and how to debug them properly using Instruments.
Attendees should come away thinking about when, why, and how to use animation to best effect in their apps, and the tools to identify and fix performance issues when they arise.
This talk assumes a basic understanding of UIKit animation.
