The Death Collector

Collector and jewellery designer Paul Wells has amassed an impressive private collection on the subject of death. Paul's collection holds objects dating from circa 1870 – 1920. There are many artefacts in the collection including hair work sculpture, death notices, photographs and mourning jewellery which the bereaved wore in public to testify to their loss. Bromley’s short film offers a unique view into Paul’s world of death and mourning from a bygone era.
