candlelight cottages by carpe diem films
As owners of Candlelight Cottages, we wanted to share a more dynamic way of your viewing our cottages. However, the story is not just about us, but about all the beautiful things around us – gardens, villages, peaceful moments. We have chosen some of our guests favourite places that we suggest you too might like to visit – Tea Leaves in Sassafras for hundreds of teas & quirky pots; Cream’ s deli – delicious; delve for treasures with Chris Morris Antiques in Sassafras; or have a leisurely and delicious coffee and macaron at Café de Beaumarchais. Wild Oak Restaurant in Mt Dandenong offers wonderful cuisine, pick up service for our guests and even a cooking school. Shopping around Olinda Village – Mallalieu, Mangana, The Real Thing, Heaton and May – all part of the delightful experience of the Dandenongs. Our favourite gardens, Cloudehill – a picture of colour in any season, complemented by Seasons Restaurant in the garden; the National Rhododendron Gardens – 100 acres of beautiful walks and seasonal colour. And, at the end of the day a beer on tap, or a cocktail and delightful food at Kellys Bar & Kitchen, Mt Dandenong.
We look forward to welcoming you to come stay with us in the Dandenong Ranges, just an hour from Melbourne.
