Holyoke High School Purple Knights Field Hockey Team clinches play-off birth while raising money for cancer research.

The Holyoke High School Field Hockey team won big against Cathedral to clinch a play-off birth in the fall post season. Bridget Higgins with the "hat trick" scored 3 goals along with three assists to lead the Purple Knights to a 6-2 win. Megan Goshea scored two goals, Katelynn Leclerc had one goal and three assists. A big 15 saves for goalie Kathryn Collier.

They played the game in pink as part of the breast cancer research fundraiser called "Play 4 the Cure" which is run by the National Foundation for Cancer Research nfcr.org/p4tc The Lady Knights joined with hundreds of college and high school teams around the country for this important cause.
