CONTINUITY & CONFIDENCE

Take a look at our recent Tests, using Collodion Tintypes as the plate for live animations with sinked sound. Our goal is to do a 4 minute and 23 second long video. That will require 3165 tintypes at 12FPS. The walk through of the video we are looking to make is also below. Thank you for taking the time to look at these. The videos that are in color bellow are completed projects by the crew or samples of large projects completed by the director, Kellam Clark

  1. CONTINUITY 07 03 2013

A Living Tin is a moving image made from Collodion Tintypes. We are figuring out how to make films in standard and pixelated (with living people) animation. This is our second test trying to sinc sound and struggling with the chemicals and work flow in the darkroom on this scale. All of our test are called CONTINUITY because at the end of the day all the issues we are learning to deal with effect the continuity of the final piece. Our goal is to make a normal looking film, which is almost certainly not possible but that goal guides us in our problem solving process and helps maintain our standards in a crew made of over 40 people. 6. WALK THROUGH 07 24 2013

This is a walk through of our next project. It is a music video to the song "barking Hand" by the band DAS, the lead singer in Gandalf Gavan and the producer arranger Ronnie Bass. Both accomplished artist they have asked 26 artist to make a song for each song of their new double LP "Mein Travel". The B&W parts are to be filmed in collodion animation When Gandalf goes into green screen at about three minutes the back ground will still be done in collodion with moving camera. The scene in the room with a couch and a TV sen in color is going to be shot in HD color video. I am playing the part of Gandalf the lead signer, and Ronnie. The main thing that is missing is the set and the animated beer cans that will at certain points utterly cover the screen. Please reach out to us at any time....
