The film-maker and photographer Fiona Tan talks about her contribution to the Dutch Pavilion at the 2009 Venice Biennale. Tan says she wants "to slow people down", giving the viewer time to think about what they are seeing and avoid the conventions of fast editing and montage in film. Interview by Jean Wainwright.
