In 2008, the English sculptor Anthony Caro completed the greatest commission of his lifetime, Le Choeur de Lumière (Chapel of Light), commissioned for the gothic church of St Jean-Baptiste in Northern France. Caro tells Anna Somers Cocks how he was told to "do whatever you like" by the department of culture for the French region of Île-de-France.
