Faith Ministry and the Government with Admiral Scott Redd - October 5, 2011

On October 5th, 2011 Dr. Don Sweeting had the chance to bring John Scott Redd on The President’s Forum to share about his faith as a Christian leader serving in a high governmental position. Redd was a vice admiral of the United States Navy, and afterward the first Senate-confirmed Director of the National Counter-terrorism Center, serving from 2005 until 2007. According to David Martin at the CBS Evening News, “Scott Redd may be the most important person you’ve never heard of.” He is also the past President of the Naval Academy Class of 1966 and has served on the advisory boards of several non-profit organizations. It was a joy to have him on the forum, and his encouragement on how to live as informed and responsible citizens (in this world but of the next) was inspiring and insightful.
Admiral Redd’s Son, Prof. Scott Redd Jr. joined The forum as well to comment on life in the Admiral’s family.

This forum was filmed and produced by Danny Iverson and edited by Spencer Folmar
