    Police and fire chaplain, Larry Todd is one of Texas’ most experienced and acclaimed chaplains and media figures.

    Larry worked with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice for nine years, State Comptrollers Office for four years and he spent five years with the Texas department of Public Safety. He is a licensed life insurance agent and works with military members who are about to deploy to help them have the best possible coverage in times of potential danger.

    During Larry’s long history of working on behalf of emergency responders, he has seen first hand the suffering and pain these men and woman endure. "They see hurt and bad things each hour and it is bound to affect them,” Todd observed.

    “Our role is to listen..and help them from being despondent over the tragedy they observe shift upon shift. We know it is a difficult job and we simply want to be there for them."

    A native Texan, Chaplain Todd is CEO of Central Texas Crisis Chaplains, an informal group of ministers who simply want to help others. He works with two civic clubs and is currently a member of the Texas State Guard and a retired Texas National Guardsman.

    Larry is married and has two children and three grandchildren.
