    Former Austin ISD Police Chief Pat Fuller discusses his early career in law enforcement.

    Chief Patrick Fuller serves on the Junior Police Academy’s Advisory Council and was instrumental in the development of the program. Fuller helmed the Austin Independent School District Police Department from its creation in 1986 through 2010. Under Fuller’s leadership, the department went from a small security team to a staff of 105 with a budget of close to $7 million. Before serving as Chief of Police, Fuller was a captain with the Midland County Sheriff's criminal investigations division.

    After retiring, Fuller joined the City of Austin's Parks and Recreation Department, overseeing Rangers and the Emergency Management Program.
