Selling Your Work (Built In System)
There are two ways you can sell your work through your OPP site. This tutorial outlines how to use our built in system. It will result in the creation of a price next to your image -- which is in actuality a live link that your customers can click on to purchase.
There are four fields in the details area for the image you wish to sell that you must fill out in order to sell your work through our system.
First, enter a price. The price field only supports numerical characters -- and the currency is US Dollars. If you need to sell something in a currency other than US Dollars, selling with PayPal shopping cart links would be the better choice for you. There is also no ability to separately add shipping with our built in method. If you wish to add shipping, I would suggest you either add it into the base price or you sell your item by using the PayPal shopping cart purchase links.
After you've entered your price, scroll down to the bottom of the page and you will see a check box next to "Sell using PayPal". Check this off.
Then, enter a sale label for your item in the 'Sale Label' field. Then, enter the email address for your PayPal account in the 'PayPal Account' area. This is so that the funds go to the correct PayPal account.
Once you have done these four things, just click Update at the bottom of the page and your changes will be saved.
Please note that this method will allow your visitors to purchase one item at a time. If you'd like people to be able to purchase more than one item at a time, the PayPal shopping cart links feature may be the better choice for you.
The color of the Price displayed is controlled by the Links Color Wheel.
As you can see, when I click on the price, it takes me to PayPal's page so that my customer can purchase my image and pay through PayPal.
