There's a budget that determines what type of scientific experiements you can run and the type of equipment required to get it up there.
NASA wanted to communicate these challenges in a simple and fun way to allow children to experience the kinds of compromises missions planner must decide on. Our InterKnowlogists brought this experience to life, and now people of all ages can build custom missions to Mars.
