Manual Fixed Beam Cutting Presses

For larger area work or where higher cutting forces are required, GCT supply a vast range of fixed beam cutting presses.

Sheets or rolls of material can be processed in single or multiple layers, using all standard cutting tool formats -- strip steel, wood forme or forged steel.

A sliding table (or tray) carries the polypropylene cutting board on to which the material is placed or fed. The cutting tool is placed on the material and the table is pushed beneath the cutting head (or beam).

On depressing the twin, safety interlocked operating buttons, the press head descends under hydraulic pressure to cut the required shapes from single or multiple layers of material.

Where required, the tool can be positioned with the cutting edge uppermost, cutting against the cutting pad which can be clamped to the press head, or the tool may be clamped to the press head where applications permit.
