Nicola Formichetti -- CCP Games Collaboration
Nicola Formichetti, internationally celebrated fashion director and editor (Mugler, Vogue Hommes Japan, UNIQLO, Lady Gaga collaborator) unveiled his BOFFO Building Fashion pop-up store beginning Sept. 9 2011 and open to the public for two weeks during NY Fashion week. It showcases a collaboration with CCP Games to render one of his designs in a fully interactive, real-time virtual catwalk experience at the event space. A true first of the kind in either the gaming or fashion industries.
Formichetti's inspiring design has been fully realized into the virtual setting of EVE Online on a virtual avatar copy of signature model Rick Genest (AKA Rico the Zombie Boy) by the artists, programmers and animators at CCP Games using their own industry-leading technology.
