The competition is divided in 3 categories:
Evening Gown - There are no specific requirements regarding the gown other than that it should be full length, fit you well and compliment your own coloring and physical features.
Talent – Dance, Sing, Instrument.
Ethnic Wear/ panel Interview -For the judges' interviews, you will need an Ethnic outfit.

The judges will be looking for an all around winner. She may not be the most outstanding in any one category yet she will score highly in all categories. The judging is based on poise, personality, intelligence and beauty.
In addition to choosing FunAsiA’s Miss South Asia Texas 2012, awards will be presented to the Most Photogenic, Miss Congeniality, (Miss Presenting Sponsor) and the Butterfly Award.

PHOTOS: In addition to the picture(s) in your program ad, you will need to provide 1, 5"x7" color photo, head and shoulder shot, of the same pose, printed vertically, without crown or sash.
Photogenic Awards will be presented to the contestant in each division determined to have the best photograph by our judges
