Diego Pernia

Diego is Argentinian and is based in Mexico. Diego studied film direction in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He then went on to continue his studies in Miami, L.A., Madrid and Berlin, combining it with Art Direction and Philosophy. Diego studied, among others, under Eiko Ishioka, acclaimed set and wardrobe designer from Japan whose work includes The Cell and Francis Ford Coppola's Dracula. He also studied Cinematographic script under Robert McKee, teacher of many of the great scriptwriters of our times. In addition to this he also has gained experience in stage directing. He believes deeply in creative work and that by listening, paying attention to detail and studying on a daily basis, you will always continue to develop and discover new things. Diego has already built an impressive career. His work includes brands like, Nissan, including the multi-awarded " 5to Elemento" for Nissan Altima, Axe, for whom he directed the first 5 chapters and designed the integral image of the award winning commercials, Nissan, Sky TV, Marina Armada de Mexico, The Mexican Army, Sony, HSBC, Mercedes Benz and the prestigious campaign to celebrate Mexico’s bicentennial for one of the country’s main TV stations, Televisa.
